This is an instrument for the determination of the caliber (length and width), of the orthogonality and the straightness of tiles, flat plates and similar products.
Equipment constituted by a strong loom in steel, equipped with wheels for easy movement (equipped with mechanical brake); the frame has been designed to obtain a variable inclination from 5° to 90°, satisfying so all the needs of space and encumbrance. The frame supports a plane (made of steel) on which, materially, are positioned the samples to be measured. it’s possible to choose between two different kinds of mensuration sets:: through Digital Comparators Mitutoyo (with possible card and software of data acquisition always Mitutoyo) or by Laser Sensors Panasonic (electronics Panasonic and software Main Laboratory Sassuolo).
For the easy positioning of the measurers, the instrument uses linear guides with high precision and stability; it is also possible to equip the instrument with a direct measurer (vision sensor line) of the caliber (alternative to the comparator or sensor used in the traditional version); such measurer, equipped with special display device of the datum, makes the measure also without reference sample or zero resetting.
The instrument is supplied with elastic (not-rigid) magnetic “bands” which serve as an interface between the sample and the support plane.
