Laboratory instrument able to determine the abrasion resistance of glazed tiles according to the indicated standards.
The test sample is fixed to the rotating plate with a special support-container provided with sealing rubber (as standard); we proceed to introduce the abrasive charge consisting of calibrated stainless steel balls, distilled water and corundum into the container support, then the rotary plate movement is activated, which also performs an elliptical oscillation.
The instrument is equipped with a rotation speed adjustment system to be able to operate as required by the standards (300 rpm / min) or at other speeds if there are specific extra-standard requirements of the user.
